Christian Internet Moms is proud to report that the recent Grand Opening Gala,. The "Rags to Rubies Virtual Ball" was a smashing success! The Ball was held on May 6th, 2005 in an internet conference room graciously hosted by one of our fellow Christian Internet Moms members.

This ball was intended to be a celebration of the inner beauty in all of us & with such an awesome turnout of women from all over the globe, we achieved that by a large margin. We all shared in a day to fellowship with each other apart from the everyday as we stepped into a virtual ballroom.

Planned events, included the end of the evening crowning of a lucky mom turned Princess. The crowned "Ruby Princess" walked away from the splendid event with the grand prize package.

When's the Next One?
"Same time, same place?" many of you have asked, in hopes of another Virtual Ball. The answer is...Probably So! Based on all of the positive feedback from our first attempt at such a huge event, we're looking at the option of doing this every year! Sort of as a commemorative "anniverary" type of fiesta! We'll keep you posted.

CIMoms Business Lounge

Many of you have expressed an interest in being able to send advertisements to the list in the past, and we've heard you.

While we stick to our guns on the No-Advertising policy of the main list, we've decided to compromise and create an addition that will be of benefit to all who are interested in sending and receiving advertisements from other members. There will still be rules, and it will not be an advertising free-for-all. There would be entirely too many emails generated if we didn't put rules into place beforehand.

The way this advertising list will work is, the advertisements will only be allowed on Mondays and Fridays. There will also be business-related questions and praises sent out to the other list members. Anyone interested must email Renee because we allow membership by invitation only. Everyone should consider signing up! It's a great way to find good deals while helping to support our fellow members. It's even moderated by one of our members...our very own Kathy Everman, who does a fabulous job. Way to go Kathy! :-)

Our Group

With the surge of growth our discussion group has been experiencing, we're now at 88 members strong, praise the Lord!  

We're currently in the process of thinking up a new slogan to use with our group, website, etc... due to discovering that the one we had originally picked (When you're here, you're family) is registered to another company. This is a big no-no, so we're going to do the right thing and come up with a new one. You're all invited to help us think up a catchy phrase or favorite scripture excerpt. Put your thinking caps on!

Our mission is to provide support, inspiration, and fellowship for each Christian member and visitor while assisting her in personal discovery and utilization of her God-given gifts to glorify the Lord, while also blessing her family through the fulfillment of her distinctive purpose as exhibited by the Proverbs 31 woman.
